Case overview

Business problem

A day out starts before boarding

The seasonal river service linked Boulogne-Billancourt, Issy-les-Moulineaux and Sèvres. A family needed to find a suitable sailing and reserve the right tickets; the operator needed that booking to match the boat, departure and available capacity.

  • The service also connected passengers with places to visit along the Seine. Its digital experience needed a recognisable HDS identity, with useful trip information alongside the ticket.

One booking, from phone to crew

ReApptor developed the Bout Shuttle platform used for the HDS-branded service. Its passenger apps and website shared route, booking and ticket records with the operator’s tools. Branding and service settings shaped the HDS experience on a reusable foundation.

  • This case describes the delivered 2024–2025 deployment. Images illustrate the HDS-branded interface with fictional demo data. Dates, fares and availability shown are examples, not current offers.

Reusable platform model

HDS Navette shows how an existing transport platform can become a distinct passenger service. Bout Shuttle supplied the common foundation; the HDS deployment combined its own branding, routes, schedules and passenger information.

For another service, the starting point is its routes, ticket rules and daily work. ReApptor can build on reusable modules and develop the parts that make the service yours.

Your public identity

HDS logo, colours and destination content across the passenger experience.

Your route network

Stops, connected route sections and departure times configured for the service.

One ticket record

Passenger tickets and crew checks refer to the same booking.

A reusable foundation

Shared ticketing software with a service-specific presentation and operating setup.

Product capabilities

What customers and teams can do

Choose a sailing for the family

Passengers choose their stops, date and departure, then add adults, children, bicycles or strollers. Available places and ticket categories guide the booking before payment.

Keep the ticket close

A booking provides the journey details, QR ticket and receipt in the passenger’s account. The family can return to the same booking instead of gathering separate pieces of trip information.

Help the crew at boarding

Inspectors check tickets and record boarding. The on-board list shows passenger groups and their destination; staff can open a booking when someone needs help.

Manage the service behind the trip

Operators manage route sections, schedules and capacity. Ticket views bring reservations, passenger categories and boarding counts together, while destination content helps passengers plan their day ashore.
